  "Only Witnesses demonstrate Christian Love"

  so a couple of nights ago i was speaking with a relative and we began talking about the organization.

  i had to asked her "why do you believe that this religion is the correct one?

  " they stood quiet for a second but then said that they view and feel genuine christian love, a type of love that is spoken about in the bible.

  Humourous reasons to go back

  in my stand up comedy routine tonight i want to list humourous reasons why i shd go back to jws.. how about nobody throws parties like jws.. how about jws being at the cutting edge of fashion.. how about it being easier for men to get a date.. any ideas?.

  The WatchTower conductor lied on stage

  on sunday morning in the watchtower study, a "study" who was their for the 1st time put his hand up and said; "i have a question.

  when the paragraph says give up everything, it doesn't really mean give up everything like the pearl merchant, does it, like be willing to lose my modest house, cheap car and other basics i own?

  i mean, that sounds a bit much".. the watchtower conductor said in response; "no, it's just a parable and it doesn't mean give up everything.

  My husband was joking with me one day and he said something like

  Eat birthday cake? God will kill you

  Give Christmas presents? God will kill you

  buy a two door car? God will kill you

  fornicate? God will kill you

  smoking? God will kill you

  the whole religion can be summed up with god will kill you 😀

  Compelling reasons to join or go back or God will kill you.

  another one: my husband is Catholic. He said you can't scare me with that stuff. Catholics go to hell for all eternity - all you got is god kills you? That doesn't sound so bad. 😀

  Sneezing in the presence of non-JWs

  greetings, cold and allergy sufferers:.

  i'm in good health currently, but i do sneeze quite a bit, bringing down the rafters, as one sister exclaimed at the kh.

  apart from that, no jw ever acknowledged my clearing out .

  I have the same issue sneezing 10-15 times in a row. My workmates tease that they won't bless me until I am done. Lol.

  Ridiculous (degrading) comment on society's video

  on video "benefits of divine education" william samuelsson makes totally appalling comment.. starting from 3:05 he refers to "an effort" that was made in past to see how society's curriculum corresponds with normal - worldly - universities.. then he claims that following question was asked (to university representative) "how we in five months can teach the same that for them takes two years"?.

  according to w samuelsson the representative of a university replied something like this: "your students are motivated, they have come to learn where as our students have been send to university by their parents and might have something else than learning in their mind".

  this is to crystallize what he said.

  As with all Watchtower "experiences" there is no mention of what university representative said this. It's just a nameless, faceless, generic university representative. It's laughable that they would even compare the two, but when you keep your followers purposefully uneducated and villify higher education, you have to do something to appear superior.

  I didn't take any believe in fairly tale classes at the University I went to.

  my wife had settled into a routine of waking up at 6am each day, cleaning (so no chance of a lie in for me or our daughter with the vacuum cleaner going), eating very little, picking the skin off her lips while she sits there in a trance obsessing over things that are out of our control and dont matter anyway.

  she never did return to work.

  My mums dying she refuses blood transfusion...the horror.

  mum has a mild form of lukeimia if she took blood like normal people she could live to be 100. but no, anointed sisters dont compromise jehovah wont allow it.

  so here i am moving to sydney for one month going to hospital everyday putting my life on hold to watch my mother die slowly.

  watching her gasp for air, struggle to breath.

  Paranoid why the coordinator's wife is soft shunning me

  for the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.

  if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.

  i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.
